Ashleigh Morghan is an actress and model from Ohio. I hope you’ll enjoy the interview;
How did you fall in love with modeling?
When I was a three, I modeled for a hospital. Haha it was so much fun, plus my mother used to be a model in the 80’s. So it’s always been around me
How were you discovered?
The hospital my mother worked at needed a child model, was supposed to be my brother and he wouldnt do it. So i did lol
What’s one of the most interesting shoots that you’ve done?
I did a shoot for Coca-Cola’s museum in Atlanta, that was really cool. I also did a nude shoot like six women and Miguel as a Salvador Dali for Paper magazine thatwas really awesome.
How would you define your personal style?
I call it Chicplicity. Simplicity yet Chic haha
Where did you grow up? How have your roots influenced your sense of style?
I’m from the midwest, Akron, Ohio. So I have a midwest sense of style. Jeans, sweaters, scarfs, more casual and cute than high fashion type.
Who is your style icon and why?
Zendaya. I just love her style. She rocks power suits, sneakers, dresses. She has a very versatile individual style.
Who is your favorite photographer and why?
I really like Vijat Mohindra. I shot with Vijat for the Paper magazine spread. I love the vibrant loud colors of the photos. The photos always look like the model is having the best time. Not to mention they’re gorgeous shots.
What advice would you give to aspiring models out there?
Admire other models but don’t emulate them. Find what makes you a unique model and use that. Utilize social media to your advantage, try to network and connect with your favorite photographers. Have fun, have fun, have fun!
Do you edit your own photos? If yes, which programs do you use?
Yes. I switch through VSCO Cam, Afterlight, Facetune.
