Cambrielle Cain is a great model who grew up in California. I hope you’ll enjoy the interview;
How did you fall in love with modeling?
I did a lingerie photoshoot for fun when I was about 18. The shoot was a great time and afterwards I fell totally in love with the photos. I loved the idea of creating photos and rad art with my body!
How were you discovered?
I’m a freelance model. In the beginnig after I had done a few shoots, I began posting the photos on Instagram. My page began to grow pretty quickly! That’s when work began to pick up for me.
What’s one of the most interesting shoots that you’ve done?
One of my favorite and most interesting shoots I’ve done was with Trevor Magson. It was on the more artistic side. First, I was full nude in front of a white back drop. For the second half of the shoot I was covered in clay and then painted! The photos turned out really fun!
How would you define your personal style?
Dark with a dash of cute!
Where did you grow up? How have your roots influenced your sense of style?
I grew up in Orange County, California. The town I was raised in is a bit small and on the more conservative side. I honestly feel like my style went totally opposite of what I was surrounded by while younger.
Who is your style icon and why?
Hanna Beth. I love everything about her look. She is so beautiful and confident and makes everything she wears look amazing. I want to be able to style outfits as perfect as she does!
Who is your favorite photographer and why?
Hard question! There are several photographers that I absolutely love. I’m not sure I have one favorite! Some photographers that I really enjoy are Corwin Prescott, Mark Velasquez, and Gea.
What advice would you give to aspiring models out there?
My biggest piece of advice for aspiring models is to stay safe. Models are assaulted all of the time. Make sure to do your research on the photographers and people you choose to work with. Make sure someone always knows where you are and where your shoot will be. I never go to a shoot without sharing the photographer’s info and where the shoot will take place with my mom or a friend!
Do you edit your own photos? If yes, which programs do you use?
I don’t edit all of my photos. However, when I do edit my work, I use Lightroom.
