Dakota Moxon is an actor and a model from Wisconsin. I hope you’ll enjoy the interview;
How did you fall in love with modeling?
Well growing up I was never the kid people could see as being a model which made me never look at myself that way, but I went to a wedding and a woman asked me if I ever modeled and from there on out I decided to try it and so far it has been amazing, and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
How were you discovered?
I was discovered from a woman at a wedding who told me to try modeling so I applied at a few agencies and the rock agency accepted me.
What’s one of the most interesting shoots that you’ve done?
One of the most interesting shoots I did would have to be one of the wedding shoots I did in Chicago it was a lot of fun pretending to be married for a day.
How would you define your personal style?
I would say I have the style of a midwestern guy, I can suit up if need to but also know how to lounge around in my sweats.
Where did you grow up? How have your roots influenced your sense of style?
I grew up in Oshkosh Wisconsin and we have got all the seasons so we got to be able to have clothing for all kinds of climates. So I would say that has became my type of style.
Who is your style icon and why?
To be honest I haven’t found a style icon yet because mine is always changing.
Who is your favorite photographer and why?
My favorite photographer is Sebastian Smith he is the first photographer that seen potential in me.
What advice would you give to aspiring models out there?
Never give up someone out there will see something special in you and if you want it bad enough you can have it. Just keep pursuing your dreams.
Do you edit your own photos? If yes, which programs do you use?
No I do not.
