I hope you’ll enjoy the interview;

How did you fall in love with photography?

I’ve always looked for details. Even things that seem quite common can hide a secret and amazing soul.

How important is having a unique style as a photographer? How would you describe your style?

Photograpy style is something that marks your life as an artist. Sometime it can be hard to give your work a unique shape, not to be influenced by inspiration from outside , but you definetly have to make this step to be the one. I’m not a person who like depicting himself, I live the adrenaline or the peace of the moment and the place, and this is what I’d like you to get from my works.

Where did you grow up? How have your roots influenced your sense of style?

I grow in Italy, the country of art. This place has had a strong influence on my style as I’m constantly stimulate by true masterpiece. Italian creators like Pietro Canepa, Filippo Bellisola, Saverio Sciutto Marco Maradei, Lorenzo Gabbiani ecc. has deeply affected my work. Obviously, I’ve always looked also to foreign artists because art is everywhere and every country has its style and its concepts to teach you.

What advice would you give to aspiring photographers out there?

Never give up! Be a photographer is like being an athlete, training is important, essential and you’ll probably fail, tons of times, but if you are strong enough you’ll reach your aims.

Have you ever run out of ideas?

Yeah and it’s not a strange thing to admit. We are humans and we can do mistakes, the important thing is believe in those, but distinguish this from being blind in front of clear facts.

How do you find places and models for your shootings?

I use Google Maps a lot to find interesting natural landscapes, but I also love to explore without a specific direction.

What’s the one piece of photo gear you couldn’t live without?

I believe my phone ahaha, it’s strange but most of my photography career has passed by it.

Do you edit your photos? If yes, which programs do you use?

Yeah! I usually use Adobe Lightroom, but also Photoshop if the shot is particularly good for me and if it deserves it.

We would like to express our gratitude to Filippo Cinotti for this great interview.
