Jamey-Lee Franz is a 25-years-old, successful Australian model, traveller and an influencer.

How did you fall in love with modeling?
It was a natural transition. I have always been comfortable in front of the camera, as I was a dancer and in the circus so when Instagram came along and then the opportunity to model ect. It was easy because it’s something I already lived doing
How were you discovered?
I’m currently un signed, so I’m not with a modeling agency, but I am with an influencer agency. But have worked for a few brands through Instagram.
What’s one of the most interesting shoots that you’ve done?
I have done a shoot in the past where I was almost nude and was body painted that was pretty cool
How would you define your personal style?
I love fashion and love style. I love to be comfortable in my clothing my main style would be street. But I experiment with many styles.
Where did you grow up? How have your roots influenced your sense of style?
I grew up in Perth Western Australia l would not say where I grew up directly influenced my sense of style most of my influence for my style would be pop culture
Who is your style icon and why?
I love Justin Biebers style lame I know! I just love the layers and the textures of his street style but he also looks great in a suit.
Who is your favorite photographer and why?
Completely not fashion related but I love Peter McKinnon @petermckinnon . I love the way he edits and his style of photography really inspires me. He also has a YouTube channel and shares so many tips and tricks I have litteraly watched hours of his content!
What advice would you give to aspiring models out there?
Just be you, work hard and don’t give up! We are so lucky to live in a time where the word model is being redefined and the industry and brands are turning to influencers to market and showcase there brands.
Do you edit your own photos? If yes, which programs do you use?
I sure do. I use a mix of different apps on my phone including Facetune and VSCO but my go to is Lightroom and Lightroom mobile.
