Jasmin Shojai is Australia’s Top Glamour Model of 2017. I hope you’ll enjoy the interview;
How did you fall in love with modeling?
I used to watch models on TV as I was growing up. Since I have done my very first photoshoot, I have never looked back. I absolutely love modelling
How were you discovered?
I remember my first big opportunity was when a model scout found my profile online
What’s one of the most interesting shoots that you’ve done?
I have to say one of my recent shoots was absolutely fun and amazing. We had a film crew on set as well as an amazing photographer. The outfit/look I had was very sensual I hadn’t done before either. So far the film trailer and it is looking absolutely awesome
How would you define your personal style?
Sensual, classy and professional
Where did you grow up? How have your roots influenced your sense of style?
I grew up in Sydney Australia. As well as the culture around me, my parents, particularly mum influenced my style alot
Who is your style icon and why?
That’s a good question. I grab style inspiration from many different celebrities. Gigi and Bella Hadid to name two
Who is your favorite photographer and why?
I have many favourite photographers. It would be hard to pick just one. Out of the photographers I have worked with, I definitely have enjoyed doing photoshoots with Richard Arthur, Nicolai Saxegaard, Kounelli Photography and Henryk Lobaczewski just to name a few
What advice would you give to aspiring models out there?
Definitely be yourself, your uniqueness will always stand out. If you really want to look at becoming a professional model. Take the time and invest in one on one, or even group courses for beginner models. They really teach you all the essentials and fundamentals to be a model in the long run
