Liz is a model and an event manager from Hamburg, Germany. I hope you’ll enjoy the interview;
How did you fall in love with modeling?
i love to act like the super confident person but in really I’m shy. Modeling helped me to love myself.
How were you discovered?
I knew a makeup artist and she asked me to stand in for another model, who was sick. After the photoshooting many designer and other photographers asked me to work with them.
What’s one of the most interesting shoots that you’ve done?
I think there where many interesting shoots. But one of the most interesting were a shooting in Kiel, when it was like – 3 degreeds and we shoot at the sea with only a pullover and it should look like it’s not cold
How would you define your personal style?
I love to wear clothes that not everyone has. I really love fashion and new trends. I think my style is a combination between elegant, fashionable and sporty.
Where did you grow up? How have your roots influenced your sense of style?
I grew up with my mom in Hamburg. I often went shopping with my mom and after we bought something I presented her my new stuff at home like a little fashionshow.
Who is your style icon and why?
My style icon is Gigi Hadid. I love her style and her attitude. She has her own style and could wear anything, she always looks stunning.
Who is your favorite photographer and why?
My favorite photographer is Roland Herzog. He is not only one of my favorite photographers because of his photos, he is a really lovely and funny person and do everything for the models to feel comfortable. And I love Lina Tesch’s photos. i would be so happy to shoot with her.
What advice would you give to aspiring models out there?
I think it’s really important to have a positive attitude and to be thankful for every chance. Be true to yourself and don’t compare yourself with others.
Do you edit your own photos? If yes, which programs do you use?
Yes, not the shooting photos, but the photos I take by myself. I use the program Lightroom and really love to see the “before and after” effect
