How did you fall in love with photography?

I started in love with photography in general, and specifically with mobile photography, when I bought my first IPhone 3GS in 2010 and Instagram showed up

How important is having a unique style as a photographer? How would you describe your style?

It´s very importante. I like it when people often say to me that they knew the pic was mine even before reading I was the author. I´m an urban mobile photographer. I mean by that that all my pics are shot on the streets, never inside. They are always spontaneous pics, I never preset or prepare my pics, nor do people pose for me.

Where did you grow up? How have your roots influenced your sense of style?

I grew up in Madrid. And yes, of course, my roots have greatly influenced my style of life, as I live in the center of my hometown and love to take advantage of all the possibilities it offers me.

What advice would you give to aspiring photographers out there?

I always give the same advice: shoot, shoot and shoot. Wander around with your eyes wide open and you smartphone´s camera ready to shoot. Don´t be afraid of anything. Don´t copy. Instead, analyse what your favourite pohotographers´ work and get the best of it.

Have you ever run out of ideas?

Well, rather than running out of ideas, I have sometimes gone through an up and down in my mood. I think the mood has a stronger influence in my work than the ideas do.

How do you find places and models for your shootings?

This is very easy to answer: just by walking. As i said before, I never prepare my pics. i just come across scenarios or people that interest me, and shoot.

What’s the one piece of photo gear you couldn’t live without?

I couldn´t live without either my IPone X or my Huawei P20 Pro. I don´t use any other gear besides these.

Do you edit your photos? If yes, which programs do you use?

I hardly edit my pics, but if I do, I always use Snapseed. That´s all I need
