Raroika Paulina is a Polish fashion blogger and model who lives in Italy. I hope you’ll enjoy the interview;
How did you fall in love with modeling?
Maybe it’s strange, but become a model wasn’t my dream. As a child, I didn’t like to pose for photos. I was shy, i was skinny, maybe too skinny. I started to cooperate with photographers to see the effects. I was just curious.
How were you discovered?
After the first cooperation, another photographer contacted me. And then another and another.
What’s one of the most interesting shoots that you’ve done?
I think one of the most interesting photo sessions was the fashion shooting in the swimming pool without water. The atmosphere of the photos was really magic!
How would you define your personal style?
I think it’s impossible to define my style. I love strange things. For example midi skirt in chimpanzees with a crown on the head, this is my preferred one!
Where did you grow up? How have your roots influenced your sense of style?
I am polish. But now I live in italy. Of course, living in Italy also influenced my style, but not all the way. I am often ‘strange’ for Italians too.
Who is your style icon and why?
No one. Really, i think nobody. I mean there are any icon in which I would reflect fully.
Who is your favorite photographer and why?
I think that every photographer has something special. I like to work with different people. Each of them can bring something positive and new into my life.
What advice would you give to aspiring models out there?
Just do what you love. Do not think about what others say.
Do you edit your own photos? If yes, which programs do you use?
Yes, i do. I usually use Photoshop or Lightroom
We would like to express our gratitude to Raroika Paulina for this great interview.
