Rebekah Wieandt is a beautiful model and an entrepreneur. I hope you’ll enjoy the interview;
How did you fall in love with modeling?
I was scouted by my agent. I never realised there was more to modelling than just standing in front of a camera posing. I love how in modelling an image tells a story. You’re a character with a backstory.
How were you discovered?
I was scouted on instagram.
What’s one of the most interesting shoots that you’ve done?
I was on a beach in essentially sub-zero temperatures in a tuxedo!!
How would you define your personal style?
It’s definitely a mix! I dress the way I feel, sometimes that’s very casual but with an edgy twist; or extremely feminine!
Where did you grow up? How have your roots influenced your sense of style?
I grew up in a little village near Glasgow,Scotland! It’s basically the countryside. I was always different with my clothes. Everyone is so simple in the country, but I love to express my personality through fashion and stand out.
Who is your style icon and why?
Definitely Kim Kardashian. She’s curvy like me, yet she doesn’t allow it to limit her choices! She’s extremely feminine and glam yet she has those days where she’s mega casual.
Who is your favorite photographer and why?
Annie Lebowski. Her images are quite minimalistic yet there’s so much emotion behind them.
What advice would you give to aspiring models out there?
Be versatile! Always explore different looks and push yourself out your comfort zone! As a model we’re essentially blank canvases, so it’s integral that you have a strong sense of self (in fashion and in your character) so you don’t lose what makes you unique.
Do you edit your own photos? If yes, which programs do you use?
I use to Perfect365 just to give my images that flawless finish and then I just use the Instagram filters.
