Sagar Tripathi is both photographer and cinematographer, based in India.

How did you fall in love with photography?
Long story short I could not resist the fact that I could freeze moments using a device, I instantly fell in love with that fact.
How important is having a unique style as a photographer? How would you describe your style?
Having a unique style is really important as it makes you stand out of the queue of struggling photographers. My style is nothing but mixture of elegant and fantasy pictures.
Where did you grow up? How have your roots influenced your sense of style?
I grew up in India, my roots actually didn’t help me out with the style I created, it was all about the social media.
What advice would you give to aspiring photographers out there?
Being inspired is good, but never forget to add up a little bit of your own creativity just to ignore plagiarism.
Have you ever run out of ideas?
Many times, every artist faces a phase called art block.
How do you find places and models for your shootings?
I keep wandering around for places, and for models I keep a look at local shoutout pages.
What’s the one piece of photo gear you couldn’t live without?
My camera.
Do you edit your photos? If yes, which programs do you use?
Yes, I use photoshop CC 2018.
