How did you fall in love with modeling?
Meeting new people definitely! and with those people you try to create something. So everyone is in a positive mood.
How were you discovered?
I did a few shoots when I was younger, but one day someone signed me in for Miss Belgium. I wasn’t really into it. But it was a great way to meet important people and to learn about the modeling world.
What’s one of the most interesting shoots that you’ve done?
I had a shoot in Thailand a few years ago. And it was in a hotel in Chiang Mai. The hotel was between several mountains and the view was awesome! They also had an infinity pool with this view. I think the picture turned out so beautiful. It wasn’t only the serounding that made this so interesting. But the whole picture. The people, the culture, the feeling…
How would you define your personal style?
I love the more sensual pics. But with a classy feeling.
Where did you grow up? How have your roots influenced your sense of style?
I was raised in Holland and Belgium. But I don’t think that influenced my style. Maybe the ‘I say and do what I want’ from Holland. Because I always say what I think. And that’s why I’ll never do shootings where I’m not proud of.
Who is your style icon and why?
Oh Kristina Mendonca! She’s so pretty! And funny too!
Who is your favorite photographer and why?
I love Dank Diamond because of the colors and Sagar Manjarres because of the emotions he puts in a picture.
What advice would you give to aspiring models out there?
Never listen to the negative comments of people. Everyone has an opinion and you can’t always do good for everyone.
Do you edit your own photos? If yes, which programs do you use?
Lightroom because it’s so easy to edit them on your telephone.
