How did you fall in love with modeling?
I started in theatre, and my interests eventually strayed to modeling. I found it very relaxing
How were you discovered?
I don’t think that’s happened yet! Haha, I just shoot what I like and hope others enjoy it also.
What’s one of the most interesting shoots that you’ve done?
I had a lot of fun doing a shoot with smoke bombs out in the valley at night. It was really challenging to breath and also hold on to it without burning my hand. There was lots of ash floating around, the shots were well worth it however.
How would you define your personal style?
Natural grunge..I think I made that up.
Where did you grow up? How have your roots influenced your sense of style?
I grew up around the NY suburbs in the NY, life was pretty conservative. It made me want to leave and live a more independent/free spirited life on the West Coast.
Who is your style icon and why?
Candice Swanepoel…she’s effortless and yet always put together.
Who is your favorite photographer and why?
Martin Wong!!! My heart, I just love everything he creates. It’s not often you find a photographer who can see what you have going on inside your head – he’s truly an artist and magician.
What advice would you give to aspiring models out there?
Trust your own feelings above everything else. Weird vibe? Don’t shoot with that person. 10/10 you are right.
Do you edit your own photos? If yes, which programs do you use?
I have no skills in this area, I’ve tried to learn but the most I can handle is facetune.
